The Role:

Due to the rapid growth of the Company, we are actively looking to hire a highly motivated and experienced HR professional to join our growing team in Limassol, Cyprus as the International Head of HR. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Company’s CEO and will act as a dynamic, passionate and process-driven leader who will primarily align and execute an international HR & Recruitment strategy to influence business success. This role will be instrumental in shaping our culture, supporting our business strategies, and developing the talent pipeline required to make an impact on the Company’s strategic growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a Human Resources infrastructure and tools and lead a relevant HR team focused on driving accountability.
  • Oversee all aspects of HR practices and procedures, aiming to promote corporate values and support business success through effective HR Management.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies & procedures and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Foster a positive work culture which leads to productivity and better employee morale.
  • Manage, administer and support the various HR functions such as the entire recruitment and selection process (sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks), induction and orientation of new employees, compensation, learning and development, employee relations, record keeping, payroll activities, employee performance management & reward system, HR compliance, employee engagement initiatives, exit interviews and off boarding, and so on.
  • Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, drafting, and updating policies, on-boarding procedures, grievances and disciplinary procedures and workforce guidelines.
  • Create and draft the Company’s Employee Handbook to be fully compliant with the Cyprus Employment Law and best practice, covering all terms and conditions of employment, policies and procedures applicable to the operational workings of the Company, code of conduct, disciplinary and grievance procedures, benefits and other job related information.
  • Guide Management and employees on day to day employment & HR related issues.
  • Communicate and enforce organisational values throughout the global workforce.
  • Increase awareness of our employer brand to enable us to reach a higher calibre of talent through job postings, strategic outreach, and networking.
  • Develop and maintain a strong and interactive relationship with the Management and employees.
  • Prepare detailed weekly, monthly and annual reports of HR metrics to the relevant Management Team.
  • Develop and execute an exceptional talent acquisition strategy to help with dynamic growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Management and senior leaders to comprehend internal hiring needs.
  • Create and drive powerful and innovative sourcing strategies to proactively reach new and diverse talent.
  • Draft compelling job descriptions and distribute them on various online Recruitment forums and platforms.
  • Stay abreast of market trends in HR/Recruitment to improve and innovate our talent management process.
  • Own the talent management life cycle with proactive workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, organisational design, and employee experience.
  • Manage a team of HR & Recruiters (where required) and coach them to proactively build a pipeline of high-calibre, diverse, and well-qualified talent in addition to collaborating with internal teams to execute unique sourcing initiatives.
  • Track and maintain KPIs across relevant departments related to diverse hiring (e.g. panels etc.).
  • Develop and utilise metrics and reporting to ensure productivity and effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
  • Run the Migration procedure for both EU & Third Country nationals.
  • Responsible for organising and planning all Company’s team-building activities and corporate events.
  • Communicate to staff about organisational changes, new appointments and so on.
  • Cover and deal with any other staff related matters and HR issues as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of 5+ years in a senior HR role in mid-sized international companies within the real estate/property development industry.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven working knowledge of HR practices, policies and procedures.
  • Deep understanding of the Cyprus Employment Law & legislations along with the Social Insurance Services Scheme/Regulations.
  • Extensive managerial experience, working in a collaborative and multicultural environment.
  • Business fluency in English and Greek (both written and oral) is essential.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, process-driven and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Passionate, hardworking, with a proactive approach and the ability of working independently and collaboratively within a team in a highly professional manner.
  • Exceptional organisational, time management and leadership skills.
  • Working experience in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) such as BambooHR or others.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
